Description

I. Overview
QSP fountain submersible pump is a product newly developed on the basis of QS submersible pump,and is widely used in gardens,city squares,entertainment venues and other fountain projects,it has the following features.
1. Electric motor, water pump and fountain facilities are integrated together to work underwater;
2. High-tech materials are used to improve the corrosion resistance of the motor;
3. Special materials are used to prevent loosing of impeller in reversing;
4. To realize leakage protection ,the constant potential grounding device is adopted;
5. On the basis of common pump,and according to the requirements of fountain submersible pumps,the company has conducted many experiments,to make improvements in technology and processing materials,to make realize frequent starting of the fountain submersible pump and completely suitable for the use of music fountain;
6. Stainless steel pump boiler net cover and three phase four wire and cable are adopted;
7. High power fountain submersible pump can take the horizontal position.
QSP fountain submersible adopts small submersible pump standard:GB/T25409-2010

II. Conditions of use
1. Power supply:three-phase AC power supply with frequency 50Hz, voltage 380V(allowable deviation +5% to -10%).
2. The pumps should be placed into water safely, and be completely submerged.
3. Power supply:generally none corrosive water that has a sediment concentration of not more than 0.02%, PH value of 6.5-8.5, and the water temperature of not higher than 40℃.

IV. Installation and use

Installation
1. Before installation,check whether there is any clogging at the motor cooling water filling nozzle,to ensure that the nozzle is smooth;
2. Before installation, the pool should be cleaned, with no sludge or weed,to prevent the suction of weeds in use and affecting the use and effect of the water pump.
3. The cable should be fixed tightly when necessary,to prevent the suction of cable.
4. Automatic control can be used,but safety and reliability must be ensured.
5. When a pump is used for the first time, it should be placed into water,to test insulation resistance of the motor,and the pump can only be put into use if the resistance is not less than 50megohm.
6. To ensure safety,before using a pump,reliable grounding must be ensured.

Use
1. When an electric pump is started , firstly check if the power and voltage meet the prescribed conditions,and if there is no noise or vibration in operation ; stop and check if any abnormal phenomenon is found.
2. Stop running if the pump sprays no water or sprays less water ,and exchange the power connectors.
3. Regularly check the change of voltage and current ,to prevent dual power transmission.

V. Maintenance and repair
1. In order to prolong the service life of water pumps ,supply voltage ,working current and insulation resistance shall be measured periodically. If any of the following conditions is discovered ,stop running to troubleshooting:
(1) Under normal operation ,current of the submersible pump increases to 120% of the rated current;
(2) Water level drops down to the water pump inlet ,with intermittent jet ;
(3) Violent vibration and noise are found;
(4) Voltage below 340v;
(5) Open phase of fuse;
(6) Winding insulation is burn out and grounded, and insulation resistance is less than 0.5megohm.
2. The pumps should be maintained and repaired regularly .
3. In early winter ,water in the pumps not used should be discharged completely ,to avoid frost crack.
